President Bob Green announced, a Pig Roast at the Vero Beach Lodge will be held, to commemorate our 1st annual Moose Legion Fun Day. This event will be held on Feb 26th 2012. Food prices are $6.00 for members, $5.00 for Moose Legionnaires. Draft beer $1.00 for members $.75 for Moose Legionnaires. There will be a hole-in-one contest, a raffle for a basket of cheer, and a membership drawing. Any other idea's for activities please contact any Moose legion Director. Please come out and show your support for our Sailfish Moose Legion.

Golfers from all parts of our Fraternity decended on PGA National earlier this month, to participate in the 47th Annual Moose International Golf Tournament. Palm Beach Gardens # 2010 was the host lodge for the event. The weather cooperated and all had two fun filled days on the links. Our thursday night karaoke brought in singers from all across this Great Fraternity. Friday night's fish-fry was a sellout. Saturday's lunch was extended 2 hours so we could provide meals and cold beverages to our Fraternal guests. Saturday night Sailfish Moose Legion #197 provided a wonderful steak dinner, we served 160 plus meals! Afterwards music and dance were provided for our visiting Fraternal Family. Sunday we put together a Buffet Brunch, that lasted well into the afternoon. The Board of Officers and members of PBG Lodge wish to thank all who attended, and all who helped make this a truly memeorable weekend !!

Our Sailfish Moose Legion Ritual Team has made us all very proud, and our FBMA! Our team finished 4th overall, collecting 3 metals in the process. Our newest member on the team, Bob Klaus finished 15th in the part of Hope. He'll be a force to be reckoned with, the next time out! In the part of Faith Steve Caraccio placed 8th, and it wouldn't surprise any of us, if Steve takes it all in Tampa next year! In the part of Charity Richard 'Bo' Beaudoin placed 5th, he's ready to "shock the world". David Smith our President, metaled with a 2nd place finish. David is Sailfish's best Ritualist, and in Tampa "WATCHOUT". Our Moose Legion Secretary Bob Barbieri did "shock the world", by comming in 1st in the part of Loyalty. Way to go Bobby! I August Prestano, with the help of my team, and coaches constant critique, placed 1st. Let us all thank the efforts of our Sailfish Moose Legion Ritual Team, and Support Them on all their future endeavors!!!

Port St Lucie was the venue for our summer celebration, and fun was the theme. Our host Lodge not only had a golf outting, they also held a pool tournament. Fun was had by all the whole weekend. Saturday nights dinner was delicious,and the band was fantastic! We would like to thank all the volunteers who made our celebration 'FUN' and successful. We would like give special thanks to the lodges Moose Legion Activities Committee Chairman Dick Martin, and Assistant Secretary Mike Gainer.You are the men who got it done! We now have 5 new Moose Legionnaires, to join with us in 'Doing some good thing, for someone each Day'. Thanks guys for stepping up, and getting more involved.
